The Make-up Technicians is a registered training organization (RTO), and is certified through the NSW Vocational Educational Training and Accreditation Board (VETAB) to offer and assess the Certificate IV in Make-up and the Diploma in Specialist Make-up Services. We have worked closely with VETAB to create courses that meet the highest standards faced in the Make-up Industry. In addition The Certificate IV in Make-up and the Diploma in Specialist Make-up Services are Austudy and Abstudy approved applications can be found at: http://www.centrelink.gov.au/.
The two full-time courses each run 3 days a week over the course of one year.

Teaching
At The Make-Up Technicians, you will attend classroom theoretical and practical sessions, and also be responsible to complete 200 hours of practical work experience. Photo shoots and portfolio creation are also important aspects developed throughout the courses. You may also have the opportunity for field excursions where relevant and have special guest lectures during the year.
Assessment Methods
Assessment methods include daily observation of skill competency, written and practical exams, and term assignments. In addition, attendance is taken into account of student's final results.
Short Courses
In addition to our full-time courses, we offer a variety of short courses conducted on evenings and/or weekends.
